EDS1100 ve EDS2100 serisi, tüm ağ donanımlarına veya tıbbi ekipman, POS terminalleri gibi kenar aygıtlara uzaktan erişim ve yönetimine izin veren hibrit bir çözümdür. Dahili AES, SSH ve SSL özellikli Lantronix'in güçlü işletim sistemi ile güvenli uzaktan erişim ve yönetim olanağı sunar. Tümleşik IPv6 desteği ile Linux geliştiricileri için geniş yazılım kütüphaneleri sağlamaktadır. Lokal olarak seri bağlantı noktası üzerinden veya Telnet, SSH, bir web tarayıcısı (HTTP ve HTTPS) veya SNMP üzerinden uzaktan kurulum yapılabilir. Lantronix'in tescilli "Com Port Redirector” sanallaştırma yazılımı, mevcut seri port uygulamalarının EDS ile herhangi bir kod değişikliği yapılmaksızın çalışmasını sağlar.
